Job Description:

EDUCATION

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Bachelor's Degree

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • ACLS- Advanced Life Support
  • NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring
  • RN-Registered Nurse of California

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years previous clinical experience in L&D and OB nursing and previous experience in nursery
  • 2 years previous clinical experience in Nursery and OB nursing, previous clinical experience in L&D and Med/Surg

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to make fine discrimination in sound
  • Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances
  • Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
  • Handles emergency or crisis situations
  • Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
  • OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk)
  • Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds

PAY RANGE:70.39-84.61

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
